Welcome to Sophia Transformations, a business committed to bringing together the charity sector, the public sector, the private sector and academia in order to effectively tackle social issues. The world is too complex for any one sector to tackle the issues that face our world today. Therefore here at Sophia Transformations we aim to bring resources to bear from all sectors of society on complex social issues in a systemic way.
In order to do this, the aim of the organization is to help resource existing charities and nongovernmental organizations, especially small to medium size charities and NGOs. Although we’re located in the UK, the CEO and Founder, Nanci Hogan, is a dual American and British citizen with relationships, links and knowledge of the working environment for charities and NGOs in both countries. Because she has lived, worked and traveled to more than 70 countries, she also has extensive knowledge and experience with NGOs and charities in Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, South and Central America and East Africa.
Sophia Transformations hopes to link charities and NGOs to their wish list of resources including expertise, volunteers, and funding. Additionally, we endeavor to build relationships with private sector CSR programmes, individual philanthropists and charitable foundations to help them link with reputable charities and NGOs with a good track record of achieving their charitable goals.
