Be like a dolphin and rediscover your playful self
COME AND PLAY
Getting out of your head and into your heart and soul
Series of three play labs
As you relearn to play and recover your playful fun side you will learn not to take yourself or life so seriously. This will give you the perspective you need to tackle difficult professional issues. It is also a springboard from which you might consider launching a new business or social enterprise that tackles an issue of injustice with which you’re concerned. You will learn how to unfreeze your chimp (amygdala) brain by bypassing it. You will also bypass your rational brain where your censor resides who lists every reason imaginable as to why you shouldn’t launch out on something new. Learning how to play, you will unlock your frozen brain, frozen due to grief, anger or whatever is keeping you stuck. You will be able, then to unleash your creativity.
Join me and a group of like-minded mavericks who long to make a difference in their work and in the world. The workshops are 90 minutes each and include:
- Workshop 1 Why play and having fun is so important and how it can transform your approach to work and life? Come prepared with an issue that is perplexing you. Either a current issue in your work or an issue of injustice you’d like to tackle one day. In this session, we will introduce ourselves and form a safe space where you and the other participants are seen, celebrated, and belong.
- Workshop 2 Imagination, Creativity, Strengths, Resilience and resources Discovering our own strengths, resilience and resources and then those that already that already exist in the context you’re wishing to address. Brainstorming session on possible creative fun solutions to the dilemmas.
- Workshop 3, Celebration and Presentations Presenting your creative ideas to address the dilemmas to the group and interacting and celebrating with one another and coming away with a next step that you plan to take as a result of the three workshops
